Clara Maass Medical Center Foundation is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization governed by a volunteer Board of Trustees. The Foundation is committed to helping donors fulfill their personal charitable and financial planning goals while providing needed support to the Medical Center. Over the past several years, the Foundation has worked with donors to accomplish many important initiatives, including: building a new digital mammography suite; the renovation and redecoration of the Radiation Oncology Department; implementation of a healthy living program in 10 area schools aimed at teaching children healthy eating habits and the importance of good nutrition and exercise; creating private maternity suites and a new parent education room; and the Room of Healing, a place where cancer patients and their families can find respite during hospitalization. .
