LIFELINE CHALLENGE Bike Tour

Use the Email link below to send this letter to your family and friends to ask them to help support you by making a pledge to the Bike Tour in your name:

Dear Family and Friends,

On Sunday, September 21, 2008 I am participating in the
LIFELINE CHALLENGE, a Cycling Event to Fight Prostate Cancer. This event will be held in Branch Brook Park in Belleville, NJ and I have the opportunity to ride up to 15 miles. This event, will raise funds for prostate cancer community outreach, education and screening.

This event was inspired by Michael Lyach, a prostate cancer survivor and elite international racer who helped coach the young Greg Lemond to victory in the 1979 Junior World Championships. Mr. Lyach won his battle against prostate cancer with the help of the Cancer Center at Clara Maass and now, through this race, he is reaching out to help others. It’s easy to support me and this is how you can help:

  • Make a donation online with your credit card by visiting www.claramaassfoundation.org and selecting the “LIFELINE CHALLENGE” link. Or,

  • Make a check payable to the Clara Maass Medical Center Foundation and mail it directly to them at One Clara Maass Drive, Belleville, NJ 07109.   Or,

  • Give me the check (written to Clara Maass Medical Center Foundation) and I will bring it with me the day of the event. Please indicate my name on the memo line so I’ll get the credit.

Thank you in advance and I’ll let you know the race results!
